In this week’s installment of The Merry Mystic, I share a little song that celebrates the way my kids used to participate in our table grace.

With continued thanksgiving and best blessings,

I am grateful for cats, who wander purposefully through our lives, even our lives on-line. Happy post-Thanksgiving.
Heh! I hadn’t noticed that Justice the cat was in the shot. Actually, he messed up my whole first take by demanding his dinner. I stopped the recording, fed him, and started over. So here we see Justice getting in a bit of postprandial circumambulation.
DEAR Adam: Today, I brought home from church a copy of the music for your song THE HARMONY OF THE INCREDIBLE EARTH . I already had the words from last week’s ecumenical Thanksgiving service. Now I could play it on the piano; and also sing along. I had to call your dad immediately!!! I have known Howard probably throughout most of the 50 years I’ve been going to St. Paul’s but never knew he had such an interesting and talented family. This piece of music is truly a wonder. Thanks! May I join your list of MERRY MYSTICS?
HAPPY HOLIDAYS! Nancy Campbell and fellow choir members.
Hi Nancy,
Thank you so much! I’m so glad you enjoyed my hymn. Wish I could have seen the interfaith service there. I’d like to host something like that in my church here — but if there are groups of people following non-Christian religious traditions in Clare, MI, they’re keeping a low profile.
(I’ve added your email to the list for The Merry Mystic.)
