This may be a stretch, but your hymn makes me think less of the Red Army (not sure that’s a particularly cheering associations for a choral piece) than of Peter Gabriel’s “Kiss of Life”, which, for me, is all about Spirit, and evokes everything for me about the Resurrection and the Life. May we all Turn to the Life, or as Peter Gabriel has it Burn with the Kiss of Life.
